Place has always shaped me more than I realized. Raised between the Appalachian Mountains and the Midwest, I grew up with a quiet reverence for landscapes that hold stillness, mystery, and strength. That blend lives in me still - a sincerity that feels inherited from the mountains, and a genuine curiosity that comes from wide horizons and open skies.

In my personal life I’ve often been described as an enigma, a word I resisted at first. Over time, I’ve come to understand it not as something hidden, but as something layered. I reveal myself slowly, in the same way a landscape unfolds as you move through it - never all at once.

I’m often told I’m warm, intelligent, and effortlessly disarming - someone who makes others feel both at ease and deeply understood. There’s a kind of relief in that moment when curiosity turns into recognition, when someone realizes the “mystery” was never about being unreadable, but about moving through the world with intention. My inner world is textured, shaped by curiosity, reflection, and a desire to experience life fully. If that makes me an enigma, then it’s a strength I carry with ease.

I love to travel and I feel that I feel the most like myself when I’m boarding a plane that's bound for a new destination. Some of my favorite memories include stark dips in a Japanese onsen with a view of Mount Fuji, waking up at 4:00 in the morning to watch hot air balloons litter the sky in Albuquerque, and feeling the rush of cold water run past me as I crossed a river in the Aysen region of Patagonia, Chile. As I pack my bags, I can’t help but think about how each trip leaves its mark, and who I’ll be when I come home again.
